XicoCity · The rack · Engineer floor
Under your own nameThe rack.
Turn a rough into a pro mix or master, survive the revision cycles, and get paid on approval — under your own name. Not a marketplace stall: a client-services room. You bring your own client; XicoCity runs the spine and notarizes what leaves.
- intake open Your client brings their own rough. You scope the work and agree one milestone.
- scope-lock accepted Brief accepted, milestone fixed. No moving targets, no scope creep.
- deliver in_revision You upload the mix or master. The version stack starts counting.
- review The client hears it against the loudness and true-peak target meter.
- revise in_revision Named revisions, enforced and counted — a bounded stack, never endless.
- approve delivered The client signs off on the final. The delivery gate is armed.
- paid completed Approval releases the milestone — 10% service fee, buyer-side — straight to your payout.
The moment · the signed delivery certificate
Approval arms the gate; the gate unlocks the master and engraves its certificate. It reads like a printed sheet — the spec you worked to, notarized and provenance-stamped, free ammo for the Supervisor’s vault downstream.
- formatWAV · 24-bit / 44.1 kHz
- loudness−14 LUFS integrated
- true peak−1.0 dBTP ceiling

What the rack gives you
- brief → milestone spine
- approve-to-unlock delivery gate
- timestamped waveform annotation
- loudness / true-peak target meter
- version stack + revision-count enforcement
What we don’t fake
A loudness-normalized reference preview, offered as an estimate — never an “AI master” — and no real-time collab mixing.
The terms, plainly
- One milestone
- The client pays a single agreed milestone — set at scope-lock, held until approval. No moving targets.
- Service fee
- 10%, buyer-side — the client covers it. You quote your rate; you keep your rate.
- Paid on approval
- Approval releases the milestone straight to your payout account. Deliver, then get paid — not before, not after.
◆ A private room, a public promise: the engagement is yours and your client’s alone — only the signed certificate is made to travel.
